Reliance Idles Polyester Fiber and Petrochemical Units

Reliance Industries has permanently closed five of the seven plants at the company’s Patalganga, India polyester fiber and petrochemical complex due to deteriorating market conditions, Indian press reports say. Almost 800 employees at the site have been offered exit options, the reports add.
