The new 600,000 m.t./year ethylene production facility, based on the Stone & Webster process, increased Daqing Petrochemical’s total ethylene capacity to 1.2 million m.t./year. The project involved an investment of Rmb12.951 billion ($2 billion) and in addition to the olefins complex, includes several manufacturing units designed to produce 300,000 m.t./year of polypropylene, 600,000 m.t./year of pygas, 400,000 m.t./year of aromatics, as well as...
