LyondellBasell Reconfirms Petchem JV in Kazakhstan

LyondellBasell has reaffirmed its commitment to participate in the development and construction of a previously announced petrochemical complex and a gas separation unit in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan. The facility will be a joint venture with SAT & Co. and the KMGEP subsidiary of Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries (KPI), and will include a world-scale ethane cracker, a propane dehydrogenation unit, a polypropylene (PP) plant, and two polyethylene (PE) production units.
