The resin is used to manufacture elastic applications including film, fiber, tapes, and closure lines, LyondellBasell says. The resins feature “outstanding” compatibility to polypropylene (PP) that enable improvements in flexibility, transparency, and impact resistance, the company says. “We can achieve a higher level of performance... due to the low crystalline phase homogenously dispersed in the butene-1 based polymer,”...
