Ineos Shutters Two PP Units in the U.S.

Ineos Olefins & Polymers USA says it intends to shut down two polypropylene (PP) bulk phase units at La Porte, TX by early 2009. The closure represents approximately 520 million lb/year of homopolymer and random copolymer capacity, the company says.
