Grace completes acquisition of Dow's PP catalysts

W.R.Grace announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Dow’s polypropylene (PP) licensing and catalysts business for $500 million. The acquisition makes Grace the second-largest PP licensor in the world based on installed capacity and includes Dow's Unipol PP process technology, the company says. “The Unipol brand and the capabilities it represents are highly respected in the marketplace, and we are committed to strengthening that position,” says Grace chairman and CEO Fred Festa.
