Chinese Firm Selects Dow’s Unipol PP Process Technology

Dow Chemical says that Inner Mongolia ChinaCoal Mengda New Energy & Chemical Industry, a subsidiary of the China National Coal Group (ChinaCoal; Beijing), has signed a license agreement with Union Carbide Chemicals & Plastics Technology, a subsidiary of Dow, for its 300,000-m.t./year polypropylene (PP) plant at Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.
