Chinese Firm Selects Dow’s Polypropylene Technology

Dow Chemical says that Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co. (Xining, Qinghai province, China) has selected Dow’s Unipol polypropylene (PP) process technology for its new 160,000 m.t./year PP plant at Golmud, Qinghai province.  Installation at Qinghai Salt Lake is scheduled to start in 2012, with start-up expected in the second half of 2013, Dow says.
