CW Conference: Downturn Will Slow Polypropylene Consumption

Global polypropylene (PP) consumption growth could be reduced by 7 million m.t. by 2013 due to the current market downturn, says Just Jansz, president/technology business at LyondellBasell. Speaking at the Second Annual India Chemical Industry Outlook conference, jointly organized by CW and the Indian Chemical Council (Mumbai), Jansz said that reduced demand will mainly be in Asia/Pacific.
