The deal includes Dow’s PP manufacturing facilities at Schkopau and Wesseling, Germany, and Freeport and Seadrift, TX. The deal increases Braskem’s U.S. PP capacity by 50%, to about 3.1 billion lbs/year, making it the largest U.S. producer. Dow’s PP business has capacity to produce about 1.26 billion lbs/year at Schkopau; 771 million lbs/year at Wesseling; and about 550 million lbs/year at Freeport...
