Braskem Completes Acquisition of Dow's PP Business

Braskem says it has completed the acquisition of the polypropylene (PP) business from Dow Chemical. The assets involved in the deal include manufacturing sites at Freeport and Seadrift, TX and Wesseling and Schkopau, Germany. The four sites have a total PP production capacity of about 1.05 million m.t./year.
