BASF and Sibur sign polymer additives agreement, collaborate on projects

Sibur (Moscow) announced today that it has signed a long-term cooperation memorandum with BASF for the supply of additives used in polymer production and processing at Sibur’s production and processing facilities. The agreement was signed by Oleg Makarov, Sibur’s managing director, and Sergey Andreev, head of BASF/Russia and the CIS.    The deal provides for supplies of additives used to produce polypropylene (PP), polyethylene, synthetic rubbers, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene at Sibur’s facilities...
