Albemarle and Sabic Form Organometallics Catalyst JV at Al Jubail

Sabic's affiliate Ibn Hayyan Plastic Products Co. (TAYF) and Albemarle Corp. have signed an agreement to form a 50-50 joint ventrue, Saudi Organometallic Chemicals Co. (SOCC), to build a world-scale organometallics production facility at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, the first such plant in the Middle East.
