Strike at Sabic's Geleen site causes progressive halt of operations

Strike action at Sabic's plant at Geleen, in the region of Limburg, Netherlands, commenced today, and operations at the site's production plants are being wound down, Sabic says. "All actions will be executed in a safe and environmentally friendly way. The site management at Geleen and the unions are completely aligned over the fact that the planned actions should under no circumstance affect environmental health, safety, and security at the site," the company says.
