Al Waha Propane Dehydro and PP Complex are Offline for Modifications

Sahara Petrochemicals (Riyadh) has announced that its Al Waha Petrochemicals joint venture with LyondellBasell was taken offline on June 1 for a scheduled maintenance turnaround and to carry out modification in the propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Al Waha complex, in which Sahara has 75% and LyondellBasell 25%, has been dogged by problems.
