Unipetrol selects Ineos's Innovene S technology for PE production at Litvinov

Unipetrol (Prague) has selected Ineos's Innovene S technologies for polyethylene (PE) production at Litvinov, Czech Republic, Ineos Technologies announced today. The license covers the manufacture of medium-density PE and high-density PE (HDPE). The technology utilizes vertical slurry loop reactors in a two-reactor system. Unipetrol's cracker at the site has a capacity of 544,000 m.t./year of ethylene and 266,000 m.t./year of propylene, according to IHS Chemical data.
