Markets :: Plastics :: Polyethylene Uhde India, Samsung Bag PE, EG Contracts from IndianOil11:55 AM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Uhde India (Mumbai) says it has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction management services contract by IndianOil Corp. for a previously announced 300,000-m.t./year, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Panipat, India (CW, Jan. 26, 2005, p. 20). Basell is providing its Hostalen HDPE process for the unit. Samsung Engineering was awarded a $260-million lump-sum turnkey contract recently by IndianOil to build a 320,000-m.t./year ethylene glycol unit, which will form part of the same complex.
