Teijin to Enter High-Performance Polyethylene Market; Build Plant in Netherlands

Teijin says it will enter the high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) market by establishing its first production facility at Emmen, Netherlands, and the plant is expected to start commercial production in the second half of 2011. Teijin aims to grow its HPPE business quickly, targeting a global market share of 15%-20% by 2015.
