Sipchem begins startup of cable polymers plant in Saudi Arabia

Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem; Al Khobar) today announced that it is commencing initial startup of cable insulation polymers plant owned by its affiliate, Gulf Advanced Cables Insulation Co., at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Initial startup phase began on 2 March to be followed by test runs of all the equipment. The plant will produce insulation polymers, which are used for fabricating electrical cable insulation materials. Sipchem says these specialized products are part of its transformation strategy, adding to its existing product portfolio.  ...
