Shutdowns and lower fertilizer prices reduce earnings at Industries Qatar

Industries Qatar (IQ; Doha), a listed firm that controls some of the country’s major petrochemical, fertilizer, and steel manufacturing companies, reports a decline in earnings as the group continued with major shutdown programs, including warranty shutdowns, at its manufacturing facilities during the first half of the year.
