Sabic to launch renewable PE and PP production in Europe

Sabic announced today that it will launch its first portfolio of renewable polyolefins, certified under the ISCC Plus certification scheme, which involves strict traceability. The company says it is responding to an increasing demand for sustainable materials from customers, particularly in the packaging industry. The portfolio will include renewable polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) in all grades and potentially for all market applications. The ISCC Plus certified PE and PP will initially be produced at Sabic’s facilities at Geleen, the Netherlands...
