Sabic Develops Novel Extrusion Coatings LDPE Technology

Sabic Europe has developed a breakthrough process to produce extrusion coatings-grade low-density polyethylene (LDPE), using tubular reactor technology, CW has learned. The company is trialing the process and is ready to go commercial at its Geleen, the Netherlands complex. It will make the technology available for licensing.
