PetroChina Sichuan LLDPE plant begins commercial operations

PetroChina has begun commercial operations of a 300,000-m.t./year linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant at the company's integrated petrochemical and refinery complex in Sichuan Province, China; one of six projects at the site carried out by Wison Engineering (Shanghai). The LLDPE unit began to produce qualified material, marking the completion of PetroChina's Sichuan complex start-up, Wison says.
