PKN Orlen's petrochemical activities swing to a quarterly profit

PKN Orlen's (Plock, Poland) petrochemical operations swung back into positive earnings territory during the fourth quarter of 2012, with the company's consolidated results showing a 293-million zloty ($93.4 million) operating profit, recovering from the Zl 1.28-billion operating loss reported during the fourth quarter of 2011, according to the company’s recently released results.
