Senior executives at Opal tell CW that the $3.1 billion joint venture project between ONGC, Gail and Gujarat State Petroleum Corp.will come onstream in the second quarter of of 2013, instead of the previously planned end of 2012. It has taken longer than expected for Opal to award contracts for the integrated petchems complex, the sources say.
