Nova Chemicals Appoints Randy Woelfel as CEO

Nova Chemicals says Randy Woelfel has joined the company and will become its chief executive officer. He will replace Chris Pappas who announced his retirement. Woelfel began his career with Shell Oil Co. in 1977, and was a member of the team which helped create Montell Polyolefins in 1995--today a part of LyondellBasell. He subsequently held the positions of president of Basell International and president of Basell North America.
