LyondellBasell's Wesseling LDPE Unit Rocked by Explosion

An explosion rocked one of LyondellBasell’s low-density polyethylene (LDPE) units at Wesseling, Germany over the weekend, affecting LDPE production. The blast injured seven workers at the site, and the unit remains partially shut, the company says.
