LyondellBasell’s PE Plant Down

LyondellBasell has declared force majeure on polyethylene (PE) after a power failure at its Morris, IL plant. The plant has the capacity to produce about 295,000 m.t./year of linear low-density PE (LLDPE) and about 275,000 m.t./year low-density PE (LDPE).
