LyondellBasell licenses technology for LDPE plant in China

LyondellBasell Industries has licensed its Lupotech T and Lupotech A process technologies to Jiangsu Sailboat Petrochemical (JSPC; Lianyungang, China) for a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant to be built at Lianyungang, LyondellBasell announced today. “We selected LyondellBasell’s platform based on the manufacturing cost performance and the capability to produce high-quality LDPE and very high ethyl vinyl acetate [EVA] content LDPE,” says Zheng Guo Dong, general manager of JSPC.
