LyondellBasell Updates September Financial Results

LyondellBasell says the performance of its chemicals business was steady in September, the company said in a conference call for investors this week. Septmeber earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and reorganization costs were $225 million, down about 11% from August.   The olefins business was “essentially unchanged” from August, says COO Ed Dineen.
