Ineos Files to Stop Closure of LyondellBasell's Chocolate Bayou HDPE Plant

Ineos says that it will try to stop LyondellBasell’s 480,000-m.t./year high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Chocolate Bayou, TX from closure and demolition. LyondellBasell announced in May that it will stop HDPE production at Chocolate Bayou by July 31 as part of its reorganization under bankruptcy protection.
