Markets :: Plastics :: Polyethylene Gail India Plans Naphtha Cracker in Andhra Pradesh7:05 AM MDT | June 30, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Gail India (New Delhi) has made a proposal to build a naphtha cracker at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, one of India’s Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Regions (PCPIR), CW learns. The project is currently in the feasibility study phase, sources at Gail tell CW. It replaces a previously announced project planned by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL; Mumbai).
