ETH to Supply Braskem’s ‘Green’ PE Plant

ETH Bioenergia (São Paulo) has signed a three-year contract to supply ethanol for Braskem’s “green polyethylene” unit under construction at Triunfo. The $93-million deal is for 150 million liters of ethanol and supply to the Triunfo unit is expected to begin in mid 2010, according to Brazilian press reports.
