Dow Europe Institutes Forward PE Pricing

Dow Europe is instituting forward pricing for all of its low-density polyethylene (PE), linear low-density PE and high-density PE resin grades in Europe, effective November 1. Forward pricing is already the normal practice elsewhere in the world, and the company has forward price-setting mechanisms in place for other plastics products, including propylene and polystyrene, the company says.
