Colombia’s Ecopetrol Evaluates Grassroots Petrochemical Complex

Colombia’s state oil company Ecopetrol (Bogotá) has hired E&C firm Mustang to study a grassroots polymers plant in Colombia. The study will look at ways the to achieve maximum revenue from the production of polyethylene, polypropylene and aromatics from ethane, LPG, and naphtha feeds, Mustang says.
