CPChem Plans 1-Hexene Plant at Baytown

Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) syas it will build a 250,000 m.t./year on-purpose 1-hexene plant at its Cedar Bayou Chemical Complex at Baytown, TX. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2012, and CPChem is targeting start-up during the first quarter of 2014.
