Markets :: Plastics :: Polyethylene CPChem Completes Construction of Saudi Petrochemical Complex1:23 AM MST | December 8, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) said on Wednesday that construction on its Saudi petrochemical joint venture project has been completed. The complex was built at Jubail by Saudi Polymers Co., (CPCo), a jv with National Petrochemical Co. (Petrochem). Final commissioning and testing activities are under way with commercial production expected in the first quarter of 2012. The complex is designed to produce 1.165 million m.t./year of ethylene, 445,000 m.t./year of propylene, 1.1 million m.t./year of polyethylene, 400,000 m.t./year of polypropylene, 200,000...
