Aramco begins trading chemical products from Petro Rabigh

Saudi Aramco said today that its wholly-owned subsidiary Saudi Aramco Products Trading Company (ATC) has begun trading chemical products from Petro Rabigh (Rabigh, Saudi Arabia), a joint venture between Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. ATC will sell polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, and mono-ethylene glycol.   The ATC announcement follows a decision last December for Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, the majority shareholders of Petro Rabigh, to market Petro Rabigh’s chemicals on an equal basis.
