ACC Issues First Recycled-Plastics Report

More than 325 million lbs of post-consumer, non-bottle, rigid plastics—including high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tubs, polypropylene (PP) cups, and polyethylene (PE) food containers—were collected in the U.S. in 2007, and recycled or exported, the ACC says in its first annual report on domestic collection and recycling of post-consumer plastics.
