Borealis to invest €65 million at PE plant in Finland

Borealis has announced an investment of €65 million ($85 million) for a major upgrading project at its production site at Porvoo, Finland. The Borstar PE2 polyethylene (PE) plant will be upgraded to the third generation of Borstar technology. The project follows a €25-million investment in a new hot oil heater at the phenol complex at Porvoo.
