Qapco appoints Talke to manage logistics at new polyethylene plant

Qatar Petrochemical Co. (Qapco; Doha) has appointed Talke Group (Hürth, Germany) as manager of Qapco's logistics operations for products made at Qapco's new low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Mesaieed, Qatar, Talke says. Talke will be responsible for the bagging and loading of 300,000 m.t./year of polyethylene (PE) granulate, as well as the maintenance of site logistics facilities and equipment, Talke adds.
