Polish firms study options for petchems project

Refining company Grupa Lotos (GdaÅ„sk, Poland) and chemicals producer Azoty Tarnów (Tarnów, Poland) have agreed to carry out a preliminary feasibility study for alternative projects to build a major petrochemical complex. The study will examine two options: a steam cracker and polyethylene unit, or an aromatics complex.
