Markets :: Plastics :: Polyethylene LyondellBasell to restart LDPE production line in Germany8:13 AM MST | November 14, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas LyondellBasell Industries says it will restore a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) line at Wesseling, Germany to production. The LDPE line has been out of service since January 2012, and the restart is targeted for mid-2013, the company says. The LDPE line at Wesseling was used for the production of LDPE grades for health-care applications. Its restoration will enhance LyondellBasell's position in the health-care applications market, the company says.
