Uhde Inventa-Fischer Awarded Contract for Sabic PET Plant

Uhde Inventa-Fischer says it has been awarded a contract by Sabic to supply technology and provide the complete basic engineering package for an expansion of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) capacity at Sabic’s Arabian Industrial Fiber Co. (Ibn Rushd) affiliate. Uhde Inventa-Fischer will build a plant for Ibn Rushd with capacity for 420,000 m.t./year of PET at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
