Invista to Stop PTA Production at NC Site

Invista, the fibers subsidiary of Koch Industries (Wichita, KS), says it will stop producing purified terephthalic acid (PTA) at its Wilmington, NC facility by mid-March because market economics favor purchasing PTA rather than producing it.
