Indorama’s $700-million petchem project in India to be located in Tamil Nadu

Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) tells CW that the previously announced petrochemical project in India that will consist of plants producing purified terephthalic acid, polyethylene terephthalate, and polyester staple fiber, will be located in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. Indorama announced its plans for the project in January 2012.
