Indorama acquires PET producer in Turkey

Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) says that it has acquired all the shares of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin producer Artenius TurkPET (Adana, Turkey). Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Artenius has a production capacity of 130,000 m.t./year. The acquisition of Artenius follows Indorama’s announcement in April that it will acquire Sasa Polyester Sanayi (Adana), a leading polyester and PET producer.
