Dhunseri Petrochem commissions PET plant in Egypt

Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea (Kolkata, India), a major producer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle resin in India, is in the process of commissioning a PET plant in Egypt, which will double the company’s overall tonnage. The company operates two PET resin plants at Haldia, India with combined capacity for 410,000 m.t./year.   The new PET plant in the deep sea port on the Red Sea at Ain Sokhna, also a two-line facility, has combined capacity for 420,000 m.t./year.
