Court Greenlights Invista's BDO Suit Against Frontech

Invista says the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas will allow the company to proceed with its lawsuit against butanediol (BDO) licensor Frontech (Houston). Invista filed suit last year for misappropriation of trade secrets, theft, false advertising and unfair competition involving Invista’s proprietary process for manufacturing BDO. Frontech filed counterclaims, but the Court dismissed those claims, paving the way for the case to proceed to trial.
