Oman's Octal selects site in US for reusable PET plant

Octal Chemicals (Muscat) has selected West Chester, OH as the site of the company's first polyethylene terephthalate (PET) manufacturing plant in North America, says real estate brokers Cushman & Wakefield’s (Dallas), which brokered the deal. Octal signed a lease for a 130,700-square feet space, the broker says. Details of the plant were not disclosed. The facility, however, is expected to focus on the conversion of post-industrial PET flake and resin into reusable PET sheet for use in the agricultural market.
